Methods to Cope with Birth Pain
There are different methods to cope with pain during birth. Receiving training on these methods from the second trimester onwards and being supported by a trained health professional during birth will enable the pregnant woman to cope with the pain and allow the pregnant woman to have a normal birth. In pregnant women who are informed about the pregnancy and birth process in pregnancy information classes and pregnancy schools, the fear of birth decreases and the sense of control during birth increases. For example, as the contractions become stronger, the pregnant woman feels that birth is approaching, she knows that she is close to meeting her baby, and her tolerance increases. It seems that expectant mothers who receive training during pregnancy and are constantly supported during birth are more successful in pain management. Because thanks to education and support, the pregnant woman can manage to break the fear-pain-tension circle.
