I Can't Get Pregnant. When Should I See a Doctor?

If you cannot get pregnant after trying for a year, see your doctor. 

 

You should consult a doctor sooner in the following cases: 

Tests performed to investigate the cause of infertility  It may take time,  it is best to act early as women's fertility decreases with age. 

Your doctor will do an initial assessment to check for things that may be causing your fertility problems and advise you on what to do next. 

Since fertility problems can affect one or both partners, it is always best for both partners to visit the physician together. 

Trying to get pregnant can be an emotional process, so it's important to support each other as much as possible. Stress It is only one of the factors that can affect fertility.
