Solution Suggestions for Nausea and Vomiting During Pregnancy
Nausea and vomiting during pregnancy can occur for many reasons. Nausea and vomiting may occur during pregnancy. It usually begins around weeks 4 to 8 of pregnancy and continues for 12 to 16 weeks or more for some.
• Getting out of bed slowly and avoiding sudden position changes during the day.
• Eating a small slice of bread, saltine crackers or yellow chickpeas before getting out of bed in the morning.
• Staying away from disturbing odors and food smells
• Eating small amounts at frequent intervals, drinking beverages between meals rather than with meals.
• Avoiding fried foods, fatty and spicy foods
• Avoiding acidic drinks
• Reducing tea and coffee drinking
• Walking outdoors
• Ventilate the environment frequently
• If necessary, use anti-nausea medications under physician supervision.
